Skilled Taxidermists Packing Process

21 Dec 2017

Taxidermists packing your trophy

Every product at Splitting Image Taxidermy is packed and sealed properly so that there is no damaged caused. We take pride in our art and we want all of our clients to be proud of their trophy so that they can always be reminded of their wildlife experience.

The work of taxidermists is very delicate, requiring patience and precision to make sure every step from beginning till the end is done to the highest quality. We believe that packing your trophy should be handled the same way.

At Splitting Image Taxidermy, we make sure to consider the distance the trophy has to travel to reach its final destination, the time in transit and the weather conditions. The crate used to seal your trophy will be able to make the entire trip and withstand weather conditions without any damage.

As taxidermists, we believe everything done becomes art, and art should always be handled with care and should always be respected. At Splitting Image Taxidermy, we’ll take care of your needs and treat your trophy as our own.

We have staff working as a team to make sure that your trophy is packed correctly and safely. Beams are placed between the trophies to make sure that it does not move around and does not get damaged.

When you think of taxidermists to provide you with high-quality, life-size and life-like trophies, we hope that Splitting Image Taxidermy comes to mind. We are committed to high-quality craftsmanship, safe and reliable packaging and shipment, communication throughout the entire process and an epic experience.

Once you’ve received your trophy and it reminds you of your adventure, please go to our social media pages and share your story. We would love to hear from you and engage with you. We would love to thank you for your business and be a part of what reminds you of your adventure.

"To Potential Clients of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Please allow this letter to serve as a recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy, which mounted the trophies from my three safaris. In each case, I was very pleased with the quality of the taxidermy work, the timelines in which the trophies were completed, and the reasonableness of the charges. I have found Douglas Cockcroft, Warrick and all of those associated with Splitting Image Taxidermy to be very responsive, honest, straightforward and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the taxidermy performed by Splitting Image Taxidermy is superb, very detailed and very lifelike. Splitting Image Taxidermy is very familiar with the necessary permitting and shipping requirements involved in exporting trophies from South Africa to the United States, including exporting animals requiring CITIES permits. Please accept this as my absolute and unqualified recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Sincerely yours,"
